Summer Time

These are just a few pictures from my summer. I had a really good summer but it seemed very, very long and yet at the same time it seemed it by went very fast.

For the first part of my summer, I went to Cape Neddick, Maine for a wildlife rehabilitation internship at The Center for Wildlife. My dad took the drive up with me and along the way we thought it would be a good idea not to miss out on seeing Niagara Falls. It was pretty but it's funny because I imagined it being much larger.

The second picture is of the Salem Witch House in Salem, Massachusetts. On one of my days off from the center, I took a drive and spent the day in Salem. I enjoyed the town a lot. The house belonged to one of the judges that acquitted many women of being witches during the Salem Witch Trials. The tour of the house was very interesting.

The last picture is of my cat, Hugo. I took this picture on the last day he was alive. The day before I left to make the long drive to Billings, my dad and I decided the only thing we could do to end his pain was to put him down. He got sick from a virus and it began to escalate rather quickly. It was a very hard thing to do because we just lost our dog last October. So we lost two of our friends barely within a year. But we know that they are together now. Love you Hugo.
